Oh my, the yogurt rice wine was beyond words...it was so good. The dish has a big portion. Seafood tofu soup was great. The seafood pancake could be better with the dough, it was too easy to break but I let it pass because it had lot of fillings including squid and onion. The kimchi fried rice was also sooo big portion, probably for 6 people to finish that.
Overall it was a great experience, I will be back if I'm in town
Korean bar in the city that’s opened late and has good food! Their popcorn chicken is great and jigaes are always hearty and filling!
An awesome hidden gem of a K-bar in the Chicago area! The music selection mateches the bar and environment very well. The bar is welcoming, comfortable, and very clean. The beer selection is good and the sake cocktails are fantastic! The food was very tasty, well portioned, fresh, and brought hot to the table. Yeowoosai is definitely worth a visit if you like K-music mixed with delicious Korean food (some authentic and some fusion style.) I'll definitely be back!
Food is a little pricey but the portions are pretty big and definitely sharable.. I'd say two people can share a dish comfortably

Great late-night hangout spot with comfort food and drinks! 🍺🍲 The prices are on the higher end, but they have large portions and you can definitively feed 2 people per plate. Certain dishes will come with a side of rice, just ask if you are curious! Would definitely recommend ordering the fried chicken for the whole table, because it’s so filling and it was LOADED. They also offer blended soju drinks for $20 per pitcher. An automatic 20% gratuity is added onto the bill at the end.
My girlfriend and I were recommended by a friend to go here :). Upon entering you are greeted and seated. It was very laid back and chill. The waiter was very attentive and always talked to us with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious. Extremely flavorful, a bit on the pricey side (~$90) However, my girlfriend and I really did enjoy the Atmosphere, the food and music. Definitely would come back for another bite
Went here for my friend's birthday food was pretty decent drinks were good, and service was great. Probably helped that we were the only ones there at the time since they just opened for the night. Food I would say is above average, it's not the best Korean food I've had but I wouldn't mind coming back.
The food was delicious and the portions were so big!! It was our first time there, we were a group of five and everyone loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back! We got four menus: the dak tigem(닭튀김 popcorn chicken), chadol baegi(차돌박이 beef brisket with lettuce salad), seafood pajeon(해물파전 Korean pancake) and kimchi bokkeumbap(김치볶음밥 fried rice with cheese and egg). We highly recommend everything we got, it was all delicious and extremely filling. We also had somek(소맥 soju and beer cocktails) by mixing Chamiseul(참이슬) soju and Cass(카스) beer (they sell the beer in large pitcher-size bottles too so we got that - they were on sale today!). 잘 먹었습니다~ 또 올게요!
